Yes, it is 38 miles south of Cheyenne, but well worth the drive to this summer outdoor learning festival. I will be attending again, and looking for future benefits for us.
Not sure ? Fort Collins and Loveland are cities where I have raised my family, ran businesses and remodeled homes. Cheyenne may have supercomputing centers, but lifestyles and resources are very different just a hours drive to the south.
Take a look at the rural aspects of sustainable living, then consider the technological methods to preserve those things we miss, or wish to preserve, from our youth. Dress cool, as this festival is mostly outdoors, including the seating for the main stage.
It is along the Poudre River, just north of the Hwy.287 bridge. Watch for the signs.
